"My dear Sir, The Romance Languages Society intends to print a separate account of our festivities, and I have been asked for a translation of my speech to be included alongside the text. I believe, if I am not mistaken, that I left it with you; if you still have it, please send it as official correspondence to the Montpellier society. It would save me some work. I believe they will ask you for the text of your admirable toast. With renewed best regards, F. Mistral."
