Magnificent costume study by Bernard Buffet, titled at the top "Sagoins" and annotated in the margin "very tight-fitting pink-purple pants", for Marcel Aymé's operetta play, "Patron".

“Patron”, an operetta by Marcel Aymé, was created at the Sarah Bernhardt theater on September 10, 1959, with Zizi Jeanmaire in the lead role. The direction and choreography were entrusted to Roland Petit (husband of Zizi Jeanmaire), the music to Guy Béart, and the sets and costumes to Bernard Buffet.
