Serge GAINSBOURG & Jane BIRKIN

A set of twelve previously unpublished silver gelatin photographs, including one jointly signed by Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg.

Unpublished testimony of the artist's convalescence at the Moulin du Bois, in Berric, near Questembert, in July 1973.

Seven color prints (12 x 17.20 cm) and five black and white prints (11 x 17 cm).

One of these photos is autographed on the back by the couple:

A kiss for Henry and thank you for the lovely photos.

Jane Birkin.

Thank you.

Serge Gainsbourg.

In May 1973, Serge Gainsbourg suffered a heart attack in Paris. After a few days at the American Hospital and a brief attempt to quit smoking, Jane Birkin took him to Morbihan for several days of rest with Charlotte and Kate Barry

These recently rediscovered photos are certainly unique.

They were taken by Henry Zavagno during this stay.
