On his return from Italy, Bourdelle stopped in Marseille and sent his best wishes to his collector friends in Grenoble. He was also concerned about the fate of his Virgin and Child group.

Madame Bourdelle and I will come to say warm hello to you all. I will see what can be done for the Virgin and Child .
