I regret to have to tell you that the painting which was very damaged was restored when I gave it to a friend: it no longer belongs to me – damaged or restored – and I will not be able to return it to you. But I hope that the work that replaces it replaces it rather well than badly. The winter here hasn't been very harsh, but it certainly beats the sunny winter you get in Argentina. »
