On February 1, 1946, a conference entitled "Homage to Picasso with projections by Abbé Morel" (painter and art critic) was held at the Sorbonne, featuring a reading by Paul Éluard. To mock it, the surrealist Jacques Hérold (1910-1987) designed this anonymous poster, which was distributed at the event.
