This drawing was created for the cover of Cyrano , a satirical magazine published between 1924 and 1940.
Louis Anquetin began his career alongside renowned painters such as Vincent van Gogh and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec . With Émile Bernard , he was one of the originators of Cloisonnism. From 1884 to 1893, Louis Anquetin continually explored the new possibilities offered by the liberation introduced by Impressionism in French painting.
