“Dear dear Mrs. Fauche Magnan, Excuse me that I didn't call as agreed on Sunday , but even on Sundays we work in the cinema every day, but I read your script and what a great thing. Oh, how proud I am that you thought of me to create it, I work every day in Joinville at Studio Pathé […] I want to talk to you about your script, excuse me that I didn't ask you about your poor hand and foot, but I hope you are well and that you are much much better. Give a big kiss to Mr. for me, everyone, and delighted with the film, apparently it turned out admirably, I am so happy. I kiss you, excuse me for writing badly but I am in a hurry to get to work. Big kiss. Josephine. PS. Here is a pass, because they are very strict. Pepito sends you his best regards.”
