“My dearest Crémieux, I wish the phenomena of space-time had played such a trick that Madame Belin imagined waiting for us one day for a whole year. What a delight to work with you, and what a sad delight to resurrect these beautiful moments for eternity… That large studio door closing on your dear face, joining the shadows. It is strange and noble, like you… whom I embrace. Jean.”
