Mother and Marguerite [her sister Marguerite] are currently resting at my home in Sceaux, and we are very happy to be together as a family. Mother is enjoying her grandchildren all day, and this stay is doing her a world of good, both mentally and physically. I received a lovely letter from your son. Frédéric was elected a member of the National Academy of Medicine and the Academy of Sciences in June 1943.
