Magnificent preparatory study for The Enchanted River , a work illustrated by Foujita.
The Enchanted River, one of the most coveted artist's books for bibliophiles, was published by B. Klein in 1951. Foujita, at the height of his artistic mastery, illustrated a text by René Héron de Villefosse.
