Eugène Delacroix (1798.1863)
Autograph letter signed to the art critic Jules-Joseph Arnoux.
One page in-8°. Slnd, Tuesday.
“My dear Arnoux, I very much regret that it was such a doubtful reason which interrupted your work. It is very likely to remove any possibility of sustained attention. Today I am dealing with ways to facilitate the entry you desire. Tomorrow, Wednesday, I will be better able to get it to you than at any other time, and we will have to wait a certain number of days. If you can come by my house around eleven o'clock, I hope I can direct you. I renew to you with my very sincere thanks, that of my very devoted affection. Ugh. Delacroix. »
