"My dear Henri, I am writing to ask you a real favor. Could you find me, in a garage or elsewhere, a fixed envelope and two inner tubes, size 915-105? It's impossible to find them here, and it's causing me a terrible inconvenience. They are for an old car that is essential for errands and transporting canvases to Vernon. Since you are resourceful, perhaps you could find them for me; it would be a real help. Please let me know if you succeed. Sincerely, Claude Monet."
