Auguste Marie Maurice LE QUINTREC (1882-1957) was appointed Quartermaster General, 2nd Class, in 1936. He held the following commands: Director of the Quartermaster Corps of the 5th Military Region, then Director of the Quartermaster Corps of the 18th Military Region, then Director of the Quartermaster Corps of the 5th Army, and finally Director of the Quartermaster Corps of the 18th Military Region. He was placed in the reserve in 1940 and awarded the insignia of Officer of the Legion of Honour.
