Julien Paganetti's book reveals, through a fascinating investigation and based on previously unpublished archives, the behind-the-scenes story of the scandal involving the 500-franc note burned by Serge Gainsbourg during the 7 sur 7 on March 11, 1984. Photographs, manuscripts, never-before-published documents, as well as the discovery of the remaining 500-franc note, enrich this work, which unveils, in addition to the 1984 scandal, the paths of conscience and artistic influences of Serge Gainsbourg.
