Magnificent and iconic drawing by the Master of Port Lligat depicting an ant dominating two small rocks in which Dalí has written his name in capitals and the S of his first name.
Processions of tiny ants tirelessly travel through Dalí's work. During his childhood, the latter had fun observing ants devouring the remains of small decomposed animals. Between fascination and repulsion, ants symbolize decomposition and death for Dali, witnesses of the ephemeral.
