Keystone Photo Stamp on the back and butterfly (glued in the margin) with typewritten caption: Salvador Dali gave a press conference today at a Parisian publisher, on the occasion of the publication of the "most expensive book in the world" Don Quixote, illustrated by the famous painter.
In 1957, publisher Joseph Foret commissioned Dali to produce impressive lithographs and create an extraordinary composition of illustrations from Miguel Cervantes's famous book Don Quixote . For this purpose, Dali used an air gun which projected ink balls. The paint spreading in a burst on the lithographic stone, thus gave Dali the basis of his inspiration.
