Exobiography refers to the Memoirs of René de Obaldia, published in 1993 by Grasset.
The book was awarded the Marcel Proust Prize and the November Prize.
Elected to the French Academy on June 24, 1999, to the seat of Julien Green, Obaldia remains one of the finest writers of national literature and one of the most ardent defenders of the French language.
