Raoul DUFY (1877.1953)

Autograph letter signed to Madame Letourneaux.

Two pages in-4°. Envelope.

Aspet. 1 , 1945.

Taking refuge with Roland Dorgelès in Aspet, Dufy gives news of his wife Eugénie-Émilienne Brisson.

“Dear Moune, I have good news from Emilienne and I am happy that she is well in her new home where I will see her soon. Thank you for all your kindness to us. I sent you a telegram to ask you to bring flowers from Nice to Emilienne for me. We have an anniversary. I like everything she tells me about home. Make sure she doesn't get too tired. I am putting all my things in order and I hope to combine a truck trip to Perpignan and I will try the same way for Vence if possible. Thank you for the flowers. I'll see you soon and kiss you. Raoul Dufy. »
