Like a scarification, the canvas was deliberately lacerated by Doherty, in several places, in order to give volume to the model's hair.
Signed in the lower right margin.
Dimensions 76 x 102 cm. Modern framing.
Several exhibitions of Doherty's works have taken place in recent years, notably in London and Paris, celebrating the artist's provocative and offbeat painterly talent.
