A place of art and excellence, the Colombe d’or was founded by Paul Roux. Over the decades, the inn has hosted a number of celebrities such as Winston Churchill, Amedeo Modigliani, Henri Matisse, Jean Giono, Joan Miro, etc. and preserves original works by these great passing masters.
