The print was collected by the palmist Maïa Noël (or Adda Nary) who studied the character and future of a person through the morpho-psychological study of the print of their hand. She worked in Saint-Tropez, with many passing personalities and also in Paris, rue de Seine.
Palmistry (or chirognomony) claims to study the correlations between the shape of the hand or the folds of its skin and certain physical, psychological and mental tendencies.
