The handprint was collected by palmist Maïa Noël (or Adda Nary), who studied a person's character and future through the morpho-psychological analysis of their handprint. She practiced in Saint-Tropez, working with numerous visiting celebrities, and also in Paris, on the rue de Seine.
Chirology (or chirognomy) claims to study the correlations between the shape of the hand or the folds of its skin and certain physical, psychological and mental tendencies.
