“Dear Mademoiselle, I have received your kind letter, I am late in telling you. I'm so busy and my painting is so successful that I have orders from my impresarios that I don't know where to start with.

Our Society has taken a new position and will resume its galas, we have one on the 10th at the Palais de Chaillot during which we will auction a painting by my husband and one of mine with Jean Granier as speaker.

Then I leave for our beautiful country, settling in Beaulieu. I would be happy to come see you. Believe, dear Mademoiselle, in the expression of my good feelings. Lucie Utrillo-Valore. – Marie Lecomte is very unwell, Miss Baillet told me. »
