“Dear Mademoiselle, I received your kind letter, I am late in telling you. I am so busy and my painting is so successful that I have more orders from my impresarios than I know how to handle.

Our Society has taken a new position and will resume its galas, we have one on the 10th at the Palais de Chaillot during which we will auction a painting by my husband and one of mine with Jean Granier as speaker.

Then I'm leaving for our beautiful country, settling in Beaulieu. I'll be delighted to come and see you. Believe me, dear Mademoiselle, in the expression of my best wishes. Lucie Utrillo-Valore. – "Marie Lecomte is very ill," Mademoiselle Baillet told me
