This drawing was made for the cover of Cyrano , a satirical magazine published between 1924 and 1940.

Louis Anquetin began his career alongside immense painters such as Vincent Van Gogh and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec . With Émile Bernard , he is the inventor of Cloisonnism. From 1884 to 1893, Louis Anquetin continued to explore the new possibilities offered by the liberation introduced by Impressionism in French painting.

His works can be admired in the most prestigious museums in the world, at the Musée d'Orsay, the Louvre, the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, the National Gallery and the Tate in London, etc.
