Remarkable letter from the Serbian painter, enriched with an original drawing representing Arthur Rimbaud with his head buried in his arms.

“Cujemo, Today Gasa, Pedja and Tabakovic visited me. Gasa has lost a lot of weight. I don't know what's happening to him. She doesn't seem happy to me. Pedja is as always. And for Tabakovic – I don’t know. I don't know, I didn't feel good with them tonight. It's like they're from another world. What is happening to me too? Is it a passing mood? Or maybe not. I would like to see you. Talk to you about everything. I have absolute confidence in you, I think I have changed all the same, you would tell me what you think about it. I'm not worse, I'm still me, maybe a little more than before, you would see it, I'm sure of it, and you would love me too, I'm sure of that too. Personally Cuje, but the Tabakovics are totally foreign to me. What do you say to that? Tell me.

I read Rimbaud and I really like it . I love him like I've known him forever, and we're almost the same person, so much so. Personally and you too love him very much, you have told me so many times in your letters. I almost want to copy his Prose Poem Mauvais sang, I love it so much. But you know him. Do you like it? Rimbaudcic A season in hell . I like prose poems in general. Dad has just returned from a trip. He brought game as if he were hunting. Two birds killed. They look sad. I was thinking of painting them, but it's too sad. I can't, their relaxed heads – They really look like children. And they are still linked together. And next to each other. »
