“ The Minister of War writes to me citizens, that he has transmitted to you the request made by the elder C. Vissière, merchant in Lauserte, for a commission for the sale of powder . This request is supported by a certificate from the municipality which attests to its morality. I myself hasten, based on the information I have collected on his account, to give him the same testimony. Please consider your request and let me know the outcome of your decision. I salute you. »
