Letter signed to the citizen administrators of powders and saltpetre.

A page in-8° on paper with its figure. Paris. 16 Vendémiaire year 10 (October 8, 1801).

The Minister of War writes to me citizens, that he has transmitted to you the request made by the elder C. Vissière, merchant in Lauserte, for a commission for the sale of powder . This request is supported by a certificate from the municipality which attests to its morality. I myself hasten, based on the information I have collected on his account, to give him the same testimony. Please consider your request and let me know the outcome of your decision. I salute you. »
