“My greatest luxury is not having to justify myself to anyone. »

Extraordinary drawing by the German designer, created for the launch of his H&M collection in 2004, depicting a young woman wearing a black trench coat and the emblematic shirt with a large collar.

To his left, Lagerfeld takes his self-portrait in profile, wearing dark glasses and a ponytail, observing his model with blood-red lips.

The cufflinks and tie knots are enhanced with silver gouache giving relief and perspective to this precious and delicate work.
