" Good evening, my angel. How is Mr. Jack's one true love? No letter from you tonight, but I'll have two tomorrow. I'm in exceptional shape and my book is coming along nicely. The tension is still the same, but I don't care... I'm being treated. My lawyer (the one handling my divorce) came to see me. All her jewelry was stolen. In the middle of the night, while she was sleeping, a man came in through her kitchen window, emptied her bag, then her rings and necklaces, and left without a sound. It's lucky for her she didn't wake up, because you can only imagine the reaction of a surprised thief. Needless to say, she's now terrified it will happen again. We're starting the divorce proceedings right after Easter. I'm not sending you any Easter cards; even the one I have for the kids is staying in my closet. All these holidays are stupid."
