“Dear Mr. Georges Neveux, The “trip”, as we saw it at Mathurins, remained for me a very beautiful, very warm memory. You know that I am part [sic] of the TNP team. Any choice of part is therefore subject to the acceptance of Jean Vilar. Couldn't you let him know your idea through Madame Vattier for example? I personally will not fail to speak to him about it. We had already planned [sic] to prepare some classics for this winter. I don't know what his ideas are now, not having seen him since the film I'm directing. Thanking you for thinking of me, I ask you to believe, dear sir, in the assurance of my best feelings. Gérard Philippe. »
