“Dear Fred, I have been trying to contact you since this morning. Here's what's happening. Pivot is devoting its first back-to-school show to children and teenagers, and he invites me there for the Under Sixteens. This show airs on September 12, live. If I take part I will have to delay my departure for Sardinia and will not be able to join you there until the 13th. Pivot has given me until Monday to decide. What should I do ? On the one hand, I have a crazy desire to send them to hell and not delay my departure for Cagliari even by an hour; and on the other hand, I tell myself (or rather my press officer tells me) that “Open the quotes” is a very important, widely watched program, and that it is essential that I be present on it. What to decide? You see me indecisive, embarrassed to the extreme. I certainly wouldn't want to give you extra hassle (changing the date of my plane ticket, etc.). Really, what to do?
