“My dear friend, My apartment in Vaucresson consists of two large rooms separated by a glass partition (bedroom and dining room), two small bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a large anteroom, and a maid's room. I would ask 1000 francs for the end of the season, which concludes on October 1st ; available immediately […] Viewings are always welcome. You can also call; the number is in the directory, and mention that I sent you. There you have it, my dear Marchand, it's very kind of you to think of us in every way. Mother seems to be doing much better, and I think we'll be able to go to Roussel's on Friday, which pleases her greatly…”
