“Dear Miss, Information taken, the title “Le Rayon U” must be completely covered, either by gouache or, if necessary, by covering it with paper. So instead of a yellow gradient – a solid color – for the volcano, put a broken purple (gouache) which allows the reading of a black typographic text. So approximately the value of the model. Ray U is a science fiction comic strip created by Edgar P. Jacobs, first for Bravo in 1943, then for the publisher RTP in April 1967. Jacobs reworked the boards in the early 1970s for weekly Tintin, before finishing it as a hardcover album, in normal format, with the publishers Lombard and Dargaud in October 1974.
