“My dear wife, I received a note from Georges this morning, I am sending you his letter, you will see that he had written to Rodolphe asking him to send to [André] Marty his wood representing a large rooster with a naked woman astride smoking . This is the wood that needs to be shipped, would you like to pick it up it must be in one of the 3 workshops you will recognize it well, you will wrap it well between two boards and you will stick the label with the address on it that I send you, it is better to send it by rail.

I wrote to you yesterday, I wanted to tell you to go see L. Simon for your pain, you should do your best to go there while Paul is well and you will take the opportunity to show him to the doctor, the son is also good than the father and he must know the children to care for them. Not a word from Lucien, it's curious I told him to come and have fun here for a few days. I kiss you and the children. Compliments to Ms. Tanguy. Your husband aff. C. Pissarro. »
