“My dear friend, let us meet at the Coupole around 6 o'clock tomorrow, Monday. I will introduce you to a very pretty woman who, I think, resembles a female character from the Marquis de Sade. Dazzle her. She is not mine. She is yours, Artaud.”

Co-founder, with René Daumal and Roger Gilbert-Lecomte, of the journal Le Grand jeu , André Rolland de Renéville (1903-1962), attracted the attention of the surrealist group by the publication of his essay Rimbaud le voyant .
Convicted for the position he took against Aragon during the "Aragon affair" at the beginning of 1932, he continued his poetic trajectory on the margins, remaining a regular correspondent of Antonin Artaud.
