"I am happy to have received your good news and also from our friend Andry Farcy; please give him my warmest regards for me.

I think you know that because of the war factories, the price of art bronzes has quadrupled : the foundry workers, simply grinding sand at the factories, earn 30 francs a day. The factories will cease operations, but things will gradually resume, and the foundry owners will be fighting over mediocre workers, paying exorbitant wages.

I don't know the price (I don't have my books at hand) at which I sold the two small bronzes to Mr. Férioglio. Would you be so kind as to ask him to tell me his prices quickly, and as soon as I see them, I will reply without delay, for it is quite certain, my dear architect, that I would consider it an honor to have some of my work displayed alongside yours. With warmest regards, Bourdelle.
