Silver gelatin print depicting Blondin during a book signing of his masterpiece Un singe en hiver , published by Éditions de la Table ronde in 1959, and awarded the Prix Interallié in November of that same year.
The document is enhanced in the upper right margin with a dedication from the author in blue ink:
"For René, with the friendship of a drunken monkey [sic]. Antoine Blondin."
