"Dear Mrs. Reis, I was unable to return home yesterday after lunch. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.".

I gave a copy of VVV to each of the following employees:

Jean Rollin

Victor Llona

Robert Lebel

Enrico Donati

Isabelle Waldberg

Patrick Waldberg

That makes six copies, plus one for Dolores Vanetti (who typed several of the texts) and another for André Labarthe (director of Free France , as an exchange), making eight copies in total. I had five more for myself, so thirteen copies in total. I still have four , two of which, as I told you, are in poor binding condition.

At our next meeting I will give you the amount of the subscription that had not been received, as well as the price of the 3 issues provided to Victor Llona, for a total of ten dollars.

Enclosed are two new subscriptions received yesterday. See you soon and thank you again, dear Mrs. Reis. My best regards to Bernard and my compliments to Barbara. My warmest thoughts to you all. André Breton
