Superb verses from the great man taken from his long poem celebrating the revolution of the Three Glorious Days (July 27, 28, and 29, 1830) and entitled Dictated after July 1830 (paragraph VI).

The poem in question comes from his collection Les Chants du Crépuscule published in 1835 by Eugène Renduel.
